H&R Agri-Power Breakfast Networking

H&R.jpgWednesday, May 8th, 2019 was a great day for a breakfast networking. A large crowd of Chamber members, staff, and community gathered at H&R Agri-Power for food and lots of lively discussion. Logan Chamber would like to thank H&R Agri-Power for hosting our May Breakfast Networking. H&R Agri-Power is a farm equipment dealership with 18 locations across 6 states.The parts and service departments are available 24 hours a day for all of your emergencies. Their customers are the lifeblood of the business. Their goal as a certified sales, parts, and service team is to address each customer’s needs while focusing on their individual farming operations. Walmart Express Tower Ribbon Cutting

Thursday, March 7, 2019 was an exciting morning at Walmart Store #736 , located at 120 Sam Walton Drive in Russellville, KY. A great group of Walmart associates, Chamber members, and local business folks came out to cheer on the advances being made at our Russellville Walmart! Advances like the Express Pickup Tower; where you can order online, then pickup from the tower anytime the store is open. The Express Pickup Tower is one of only 400 in the country! So, stop by 120 Sam Walton Drive and check out the fabulous new addition to an already great store!

Casey’s of Auburn Ribbon Cutting

Casey’s staff, a great number of local business members, and Mayor Mike Hughes were all on hand to help the Logan County Chamber of Commerce with the exciting Ribbon Cutting to make the Auburn convenience store “official.” This is the second Casey’s General Store location in Logan County with this location being perfectly situated between Russellville and Bowling Green! Casey’s, Auburn is located at 105 Sugar Maple Drive and offers gas, drinks, snacks, and their famous pizzas. You can even call ahead and place your order at 270-542-7975.

Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast 2019

The icy cold morning of January 30th didn’t stop approx. 230 Logan Countians in 2019 Ag Bfast Pic of allFarm Credit Mid-America with Ham WonKY Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarlesattendance at the annual Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast! Hosted by the Logan County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Logan County Extension Office, we come together to celebrate agriculture with a free breakfast of Cattlemen’s ribeye steak as well as eggs, biscuits, tater tots and gravy provided by Colonial Inn Restaurant. This year our guest speaker was Kentucky’s Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles who expressed his great love and faith in Logan County and Kentucky’s agriculture. He also spoke on topics such as coming from a farm family himself to the future of agriculture with Kentucky standing at the forefront in innovation. A wide array of sponsors made the event a huge success with several of them on hand showcasing what they offer to make the lives easier for those in the agricultural community. Congratulations to Farm Credit Mid America for winning the country ham auction that will benefit Logan County 4H and send kids to camp this summer at a reduced rate. The local FFA students were on hand to help serve as well.
